Convertus CTO, Cornelis Stelwagen, had the privilege of participating in the Climate Innovation Roundtable organised jointly by the Government of Canada and the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA). The event took place on October 29th, at the GCA’s carbon-neutral, off-grid, floating, building located in Rotterdam. The innovation roundtable included business leaders, youth representatives, government officials from across the Netherlands as well as Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau. The half day summit focused on building a green and resilient recovery from the effects of climate change.
“It was a great honor to be invited to this round table discussion with Prime Minister Trudeau to discuss the urgency of our climate crisis and what policy areas would speed up the necessary transition to a closed loop economy,” said Cornelis.
