Convertus commits to Progressive Aboriginals Relations Program

June 14, 2021

Convertus has announced its commitment to the Progressive Aboriginals Relations Program (“PAR”).

Established in 2001, the PAR Program includes an online management and reporting tool that supports participating companies’ efforts towards progressive improvement in indigenous relations, and a certification program that confirms corporate performance at the bronze, silver or gold level.

The PAR Program encourages companies to evolve and participate in the growing indigenous business economy across Canada. Indigenous communities are becoming increasingly urbanized however have the desire to do so in a sustainable way. They, like Convertus, have a great respect for the land and want to make sure we minimize the impact on it.

“As a global business, a diverse workplace that is inclusive and equitable is essential for ensuring our success as a company” said Michael Leopold, CEO for Convertus Group. “Promoting diversity and inclusion is an integral part of living our corporate values – we care about our people and want to provide the best experience for our customers, we know that we are stronger when we work together, and we want to challenge our own thinking to ensure continual improvement in ourselves.”

Annie Ironmonger, Business Development Director added “We have the unique opportunity to co-create mutually beneficial partnerships with indigenous communities and businesses. We look forward to aligning our values within PAR partnerships to create a brighter more sustainable future for generations to come.”
