I’m Jamie, I’m the CFO with the Convertus Group. We design build and operate organic waste treatment facilities similar to the site we’re at today which is our facility here in London, Ontario. Our group has built over 115 of these plants worldwide from China to Australia to Europe to Canada here. We operate 4 of these facilities across Canada and our mission at Convertus really is to create a more sustainable future. Our goal is to close the loop for a better future, and the way we close the loop is we process organic waste from municipalities’ green bin programs. So, just like your backyard composter we collect the food waste, kitchen waste, and yard waste from municipalities. We bring it to our facility, we basically fine tune mother nature’s process to maximize the efficiencies of the composting process and we produce either biogas or compost from the waste keeping it out of landfill, closing the loop, and diverting some of the carbon footprint. One of our goals here at Convertus is to meet the platinum level of the Environmental Stewardship Target. It makes a lot of sense for us to partner with Green Economy London because we have a lot of the same values and goals. And we’re already doing a number of the things that are included in that program including things like the tree drive, sponsoring local community events related to composting. And it also gave us a number of great new ideas like Electronics Recycling Week, Waste Reduction Week, we’re looking at different ways we can transport to work including cycling and things like that. So, our business itself is based around being sustainable but we’re always looking for new ways to actually be sustainable in how we actually operate our business, so we thought this was a great way to get some new ideas.
