Envirem Organics Launches Reimagined Compost Bags as Part of Convertus’ First Series of Branded Products

Branded product labels printing on a machineMIRAMICHI, NB – Envirem Organics (“Envirem”), an environmental company specializing in organic bio-products for lawn and garden, turf and landscape, agricultural and biofuel markets and its parent company, Convertus Group (“Convertus), recently launched the rebranded Greenhouse Gold line. The new design reaffirms the company’s commitment to eco-conscious practices and a more sustainable environment with a fresh, modern look for its bio-products.

Envirem’s Greenhouse Gold line was designed for the environmentally conscious consumer and offers an all-natural, high-quality, and economical range of retail bark mulches, organic composts, soilless mixes, soil amendments, and organic fertilizers.

These redesigned bags are made at Envirem’s advanced packaging facility and are part of Convertus Group’s first series of branded products. Currently, the facility uses four automatic lines and a manual line to package over 12 million bags annually. By providing high-quality bags, and efficient bagging technology, Convertus and Envirem empower retailers to divert organics from landfills, converting it into valuable compost.

The updated design strengthens Envirem’s connection to the Convertus brand identity. The bags incorporate Convertus’ brand colours and partner them with a minimalistic design to emphasize the company’s dedication to a clean and sustainable environment. The new Greenhouse Gold packaging, with the added Convertus signature icon, further emphasizes Convertus’ goal to achieve a circular economy. “The new Greenhouse Gold packaging was created to incorporate the Convertus closed-loop mission”, said Colin Murray, Director of Sales and Business Development at Envirem Organics. “Greenhouse Gold mixes are created through composting and giving resources new life which is important to both our company and customers.”

The design team carefully took regulations into account during the design process while also focusing on affordability for price-conscious consumers. Reducing the colours used in the design allowed for a vibrant yet clean and professional aesthetic.

This rebranding effort is being implemented in phases, with three items completed so far. According to Colin Murray, they “hope to have all items completed by November 2024 for a full launch during the 2025 season which begins in March”.

This packaging will be used to distribute compost through local giveaway programs, promoting sustainability, and community engagement.

This launch reinforces Convertus’ mission of closing the loop and further strengthens its leadership in the organic waste processing industry. This initiative marks a significant milestone in establishing a strong foundation for the continued growth and success of Convertus’ branded products.
